The last song I wrote, called "No Ties" (for now at least), I've been able to set to music. Yay.

See, Lewis had sent me music tracks he'd done up, and I sat around earlier today trying to sing the lyrics to various songs, and finally found one to fit them to.

It's dodgy recording, as always, and the song in itself will need fine tuning and stuff, but hey, it's a start! So I'm kinda chuffed about that at the moment...

Mmmmm the music needs more than guitars and drums too. I'd love some piano chucked in. Maybe it's the influence of The Whitlams, as I've been listening to them for a month straight, and before them it was Nick Cave, and Fiona Apple, who both use a lot of piano too... I'm thinking maybe I should eventually get round to seeing if Jules is in town, the little musical prodigy that he is, and see if he's interested in this little venture of ours...

Anyways, yay for the first little steps of progress!
